Wills, Trusts, & Estates
Estate Planning involves the preparation of wills, trusts and other documents which transfer assets to your beneficiaries upon your death.
Also, powers of attorney and advance medical directives can be very important, if you become incapacitated and need an agent to pay your bills and make decisions about your business or your health care. Revocable living trusts are sometimes used as a substitute for a will, and can be very useful for property that is not located in your state of residence. Having an up to date estate plan and choosing the right agents, Executors or Trustees can greatly benefit your loved ones at your death or in times of stress and change.

Our Process
We begin by meeting with you and your spouse, if married, and review any earlier estate plan you may have. After a discussion of your assets and your investments, we then review all options which may apply to your situation, including establishing certain automatic payments which occur on death. When you have decided upon a plan for distribution after your death, we prepare the necessary documents and send them to you for review, followed by a second meeting at which all papers are signed and copied. If you are unable to come to our office, arrangements can be made for an attorney and Notary Public to visit you at your place of residence. Our fees are based upon the time involved and the complexity of your estate plan.
